Thank you for donating to help us reach our Walk to Defeat ALS fundraising goal! As the Captain of the Mud Warriors Team for over 8 years, I know Mike would want me to continue my personal commitment to support The Walk to Defeat ALS. 

We want to honor Mike and walk in his memory since he left this world in January after living with his diagnosis for almost 9 years.

Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) is a progressive, fatal neuromuscular disease that slowly robs the body of its ability to walk, speak, swallow and breathe. The life expectancy of a person with ALS averages 2 to 5 years from the time of diagnosis.

That’s why I’m walking. To change the statistics. To bring help and hope to those living with ALS. 

Mike and I, along with so many of our friends and family, have participated in the Walk to Defeat ALS to bring hope and raise awareness ever since he was diagnosed. He would want us to continue to support the Walk which  provides resources and services to families free of charge. Mike received so much support over the years...and we are grateful for the amazing ALS AZ team who provides valuable support services to help others navigate this complex disease.

We would love to have you join us at the walk on November 2 at Salt River Fields in Scottsdale, AZ to help us achieve the goal where no one ever hears the words we heard back in January 2016: “You Have ALS”
