Hi, friends & family!
I'm raising funds to support ALS Arizona, an organization that has helped my friend's family after her mother's ALS diagnosis.
Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) is a progressive, fatal neuromuscular disease that slowly robs the body of its ability to walk, speak, swallow and breathe. The life expectancy of a person with ALS averages 2 to 5 years from the time of diagnosis. ALS can strike anyone, and presently there is no known cause or cure.
ALS Arizona has made a difference in my own loved ones' lives by providing local support groups, medical care coordination, and otherwise pricey equipment such as wheelchairs, walkers, and lifts. This Saturday, I hope to help ALS Arizona continue its incredible work by contributing to the cause. Can you help me reach my $100 goal?
