We still need Your Help!

The 2024 Walk at Hi-Corbett Field was a different event than usual and lots of fun.  I could see the appreciation and Hope in the eyes of the ALS Patients I greeted.  I invite you to join me this year for the fun, but most of all, to give HOPE to those living with dreadful disease.

We have achieved 46% ($4653) of our $8000 goal. There is still time to help Team McDonald reach its goal so that we can continue to help the families living with ALS as well as support the progress that has been made to find a cure.  Any contribution you can make will make a difference and provide HOPE to those battling this dreadful disease.

WHAT IS ALS?

Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) is a progressive, fatal neuromuscular disease that slowly robs the body of its ability to walk, speak, swallow and breathe. The life expectancy of a person with ALS averages 2 to 5 years from the time of diagnosis. ALS can strike anyone, and presently there is no known cause or cure.
