Welcome to My Personal Page
In honor of my Nana Yolie, whose love continues to guide me every day, I?m joining the fight to end ALS. This cause is deeply personal, and every donation helps fund critical research, support families, and move us closer to a cure.
This walk is deeply personal for me?I'm walking in memory of my grandmother, who bravely battled ALS. We lost her to this devastating disease, but her strength, love, and spirit continue to inspire me every day.
The Walk to Defeat ALS raises critical funds to support those still fighting, to advocate for caregivers, and to push forward the urgent search for effective treatments and a cure. Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) is a progressive, fatal neuromuscular disease that slowly robs a person of their ability to walk, speak, swallow, and breathe. The average life expectancy after diagnosis is just 2 to 5 years. There is still no known cause?and no cure.
That?s why I walk. I walk for my nana?s legacy. I walk to bring hope to families like ours, to support others living with ALS today, and to help ensure that one day, no family has to go through what ours did. I walk so that no one else has to hear the words: ?You have ALS.?
Please consider walking with me or making a donation to our team. With your support, we can honor my grandmother?s memory and move one step closer to a future without ALS.
