Welcome to My Personal Page
Hi friends,
As many of you know, I don?t post often ? but this one is personal.
A little over three years ago, we lost our son Brett to ALS, a devastating and aggressive disease, just shy of his 40th birthday. Brett fought courageously for three years. During that time, we moved him to Arizona so we could be his caregivers and stand by his side through every challenge.
We witnessed firsthand how brutal this disease can be, but also the incredible strength, grace, and resilience Brett showed each day. We?re deeply grateful to the caregivers, physical therapy students, nurses, doctors, and Hospice of the Valley who supported us along the way ? they were truly amazing.
This Saturday, we?ll be walking in Brett?s honor at the Scottsdale, AZ ALS Walk. While there has been progress in ALS research, there?s still a long way to go.
If you?re able, we?d be so grateful for any donation made in Brett?s memory to help fund research and support families affected by ALS. Every bit truly helps in the fight to end this terrible disease.
Thank you all for your love and support.
With gratitude,
Bruce, Cindy, Kelly, and Patrick Light
