Forever in our Hearts
Forever in our Hearts

Hello Team Mimi,

We hope you've all had a great summer and we’re looking forward to seeing you again at the 2025 Scottsdale Walk to Defeat ALS and/or the Team Mimi Happy Hour!

This year’s walk will be held on Saturday November 8th at Salt River Fields, our Team Mimi happy hour will be on Friday November 14th at Cold Beers & Cheeseburgers (8624 E Shea Blvd) and all month long in October will be the ALS Burger Special at all Cold Beers & Cheeseburgers AZ locations! More details to come about the events, please let me know if you have any questions.

We can’t thank you enough for your continued support of and donations to the fight against ALS!  It is a privilege for us to be able to help this cause in mom’s name since 2017 and we are so grateful to all of you.

Together we can make a difference in the lives of those affected by ALS and work towards creating a world without ALS! Team Mimi is committed to raising money to support people in our community living with ALS, their caregivers and to spread awareness of the urgency to find treatments and a cure. Since we joined the fight against ALS in 2017, Team Mimi has donated an amazing $65,997 - thank you, thank you, thank you!!!

WHY WE NEED YOUR HELP

Every 90 minutes a person in this country is diagnosed with ALS and every 90 minutes another person will lose their battle against this disease. ALS occurs throughout the world with no racial, ethnic, or socioeconomic boundaries.

That’s why we’re participating in the Walk to End ALS. To bring hope. To raise awareness. To provide resources and services to families free of charge. To help unlock the mystery of ALS and find the key to treatments and a cure. Please join us.

ABOUT ALS

Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) is a progressive, fatal neuromuscular disease that slowly robs the body of its ability to walk, speak, swallow and breathe. The life expectancy of a person with ALS averages 2 to 5 years from the time of diagnosis.

ALS can strike anyone. Presently there is no known cause of the disease, yet it still costs loved ones an average of $250,000 a year to provide the care people living with ALS and their families need. Join the movement to provide help and hope today!

Thank you,
Greg & Marnie
