2025 Remembrance Walk for Jeff
Dear Friends & Family,
It is hard to believe that it was ten years ago that fifty of us joined together and did the Scottsdale ALS Walk for and with Jeff. Just eight months prior, Jeff was diagnosed with Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) - a progressive, fatal neuromuscular disease that slowly robs the body of its ability to walk, speak, swallow and breathe. Five months later, Jeff?s battle with ALS ended, but our fight will not stop until we have a known cause and cure for this disease.
On November 8th, in remembrance of Jeff and in celebration of the incredible impact Allison has made in the ALS community over the past near decade, we are going to fundraise and walk for the Barrow Neurological Fulton ALS Center team at this year?s Scottsdale ALS Walk. In honor of Jeff, we will order the ?For Jeff? bracelets and photo buttons like we did in 2015, and of course - if anyone wants to wear blue (his favorite color), that would also be wonderful!
While the past decade has brought incredible advancements in ALS research, expanded access to care for people living with ALS, and enabled legislation that impacts the quality of life of people with ALS and their families - our greatest encouragement and appreciation is always for the incredible support and love from people like YOU!
For Jeff, and for every other family impacted by ALS - thank you.
In gratitude - Always.
