Scott Strong ? Walking for Hope

This year, our family is walking with ALS Arizona in honor of our dad, Scott. ALS has changed our family?s life in ways we never imagined, but it has also shown us the power of faith, community, and resilience.

We walk to raise awareness of this devastating disease, to stand with other families fighting ALS, and to support the caregivers who carry so much love and responsibility each day. Most of all, we walk because we believe in hope?and in a future where no one has to hear the words, ?You have ALS.?

Why This Matters

• Every 90 minutes, someone is diagnosed with ALS?and every 90 minutes, someone loses their battle.

• ALS has no boundaries: it affects people of all ages, backgrounds, and walks of life.

• Right now, there is no cure. Families face enormous challenges, often spending more than $250,000 per year on care.

ALS Arizona has been a blessing to our parents by providing resources, equipment, and encouragement along the way. This walk helps make sure those services remain free for families like ours, while also funding research and advocacy that bring us closer to treatments and, one day, a cure.
