Thank you for donating and helping Team GamingWithALS reach our ALS Walk fundraising goal! The Walk to End ALS raises funds to support those affected by ALS and to spread awareness of the urgency to find treatments and a cure.

Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) is a progressive, fatal neuromuscular disease that slowly robs the body of its ability to walk, speak, swallow, and breathe. The life expectancy of a person with ALS averages 2 to 5 years from the time of diagnosis. ALS can strike anyone, and presently there is no known cure.

For our team, this fight is personal. GamingWithALS was created by Jorge after his recent ALS diagnosis, combining his love for gaming with a new purpose: raising awareness, supporting the ALS community, and helping make a difference for others affected by this disease.

That’s why we’re walking. To change the statistics. To bring help and hope to those living with ALS. To support the caregivers and families who stand beside their loved ones through this disease. And to help create a future where no one ever has to hear the words, “You have ALS.”

The past few years have brought incredible advancements in ALS research, expanded access to care for people living with ALS, and enabled legislation that impacts the quality of life of people with ALS and their families.

But we can’t stop now! The key to a cure starts with all of US. Please consider walking with Team GamingWithALS or making a donation to our team. With your help, we can make a difference in the lives of people affected by ALS and continue fighting for a future without it.

Thank you for supporting Jorge and Team GamingWithALS.
