On November 7, I’ll be walking with Team Adi - to stand with every person and family whose life has been changed by ALS. I invite our friends and family to walk alongside us in person, participate virtually from wherever you are, or donate in whatever way you can.

Watching Adi navigate ALS has changed me. I have seen how much this disease asks of a person and how often it requires both her and those who love her to adapt. But I have also seen her courage, hope, and determination to continue living fully.

ALS has no cure today—but today is not forever. Science and technology are advancing rapidly, from genetics and biomarkers to more targeted treatments and faster ways of testing new therapies. The breakthrough we are waiting for could be closer than any of us realize.

But breakthroughs require momentum. Awareness creates urgency, and funding gives researchers and promising discoveries the opportunity to move forward. It also helps build a stronger community around those living with ALS and the people who care for them.
