I am walking in this year's Tucson Walk ALS not just for a cause, but for a person?my great friend, fellow veteran, and mentor, Ernie Ruiz.

Since his diagnosis with ALS, Ernie's unwavering spirit has been a constant source of inspiration. Where others might see an immense challenge, Ernie sees a reason to keep going, to find joy, and to live with an incredible purpose. He faces this disease with a quiet strength and a deep-seated resilience that is a testament to his character and his deep love for his family.

For many of us, a simple walk is something we take for granted. For Ernie and thousands like him, it?s a constant struggle. That?s why our team is stepping up and walking on his behalf, turning our simple steps into a powerful stride against this devastating disease. Every mile we cover, every dollar we raise, is a direct act of support for Ernie and for everyone else who is fighting ALS.
